i do agree with Edwick, if your board can take a quadcore then just get the chip and get a new card
If its Intel s775 then get this quadcore
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115043 199.00
If Amd socket AM2+ then this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819103644 120.00
Now if you get the AMD chip get this card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814125318 299.00
with this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817171053

If its the Intel that you get this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814125334 200.00
with this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817171053 69.00

Just wondering Bone, why are you against mixing AMD/Nvidia or Intel/ATI?

Never said i was against it at all. The better Intels are more expensive so it leave less money for great vid card. He is running intel so i suggested a 200 dollar quad, which leaves 300 for a card and psu, The psu is over 50 so that leaves less then 250 for a card and that price the 460 is better then amds offering of the 5830. If he had enough left to get an ati 5850.

How about this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115207 150.00 cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817171052 60.00psu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102884 285.00 vid card

495.00

If you have the cash go for the 5850, if not the 460, but you deff need a quad core cpu in there, the last setup posted is what you should get

I just got a great deal on newegg for starcraft2 and a 140 thermaltake case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811133086) got it for 135 bucks with 25 mail in rebate great deal!. You think I should switch my parts as soon as i get to that case? considering i wont be buying those other parts till for acouple weeks. as well u think my 525watt powersupply can support that case? (wit my parts too, though i wont have my network card and sound card in there no more)

This is almost turning into a lost cause. So much advice has been provided here, and I don't see you taking much of it, Daft. We can't tell you what to do, but shit man, take some advice, make a choice and move on. PDT_Armataz_01_34
