The *CoRe* Clan - Terms of use
By accessing “The *CoRe* Clan” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “The *CoRe* Clan”, “http://www.coreclan.net”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “The *CoRe* Clan”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “The *CoRe* Clan” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
Our forums are powered by phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) which is a bulletin board solution released under the “General Public License” (hereinafter “GPL”) and can be downloaded from www.phpbb.com. The phpBB software only facilitates internet based discussions, the phpBB Group are not responsible for what we allow and/or disallow as permissible content and/or conduct. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “The *CoRe* Clan” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “The *CoRe* Clan” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “The *CoRe* Clan” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
Basic Terms
1. The content of this site is intended for the personal use of ADULTS ONLY and may not be suitable for children. You must be at least 18 years old to register on this site
2. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your user name.
3. You may not use The *CoRe* Clan for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. ALL users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
4. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics,
photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links (“Content“)that you submit, post, and display
on the The *CoRe* Clan.
5. The *CoRe* Clan is intended for personal use and is not a generic hosting service. Professional
or corporate uses of The *CoRe* Clan are prohibited.
6. You must not modify, adapt or hack The *CoRe* Clan or modify another website so as to falsely imply
that it is associated with The *CoRe* Clan.
7. You must not create or submit unwanted email to any The *CoRe* Clan members (“Spam“).
8. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
9. You must not, in the use of The *CoRe* Clan, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
10. You must not use The *CoRe* Clan as a method of harassment or to disclose the personal information of yourself or others.
General Conditions:
1. No copyright infringement:
Do not store or distribute copyrighted material if you do not have the right to do so. This includes, but is not limited to MP3 files, Movies, Games, programs.
2. No account sharing:
You may not share your account with other people. Please keep your password private. Further more, each member is limited to one account. Additional accounts will be removed.
3. No invalid file formats:
Please do not upload files with an invalid extension or in an invalid format for the purpose of circumventing the rules. All files that do not match their file extension or type will be deleted. For example, an MPG file labeled as a TXT file will be deleted (and vise-versa). NO PHP PLEASE!
4. No prohibited content:
Do not upload any prohibited content, including anything that even remotely resembles child pornography, or pornography in general. Any suspect files are turned over to the appropriate authorities and/or to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
5. Do not harm the FileServer:
Anyone caught trying to hack or in anyway harm this service will have their account terminated and the proper authorities will be contacted in the situation. We offer you a free service, do not ruin it for yourself and others. Have some sense of maturity here.
6. Do not abuse your rights:
You are given a massive amount of storage and bandwidth. Do not mirror out file downloads, if you use what is considered an extreme amount of bandwidth your account will be suspended until reasons given why such bandwidth was used. This is a personal fileserver, not a webhosting site. Further more, if this service is used in anyway for spamming, phishing, or illegal transfer of files, your account will be terminated and you will be blocked from the service.
Additonal Conditions:
1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate The *CoRe* Clan for any reason, without notice at any time.
2. We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change
to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via internet mail according to the preference expressed on your account.
What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common
sense and reasonable judgement.
3. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
4. We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine
in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise
objectionable or violates any party(s) intellectual property or these Terms of Use.
5. This use is accepted (and even encouraged!). However, pages on other websites which display
images hosted on The *CoRe* Clan must provide a link back to The *CoRe* Clan from each photo/sound to its
site of origin on The *CoRe* Clan.
6. Your account will also be terminated if it is used for hosting graphic elements of web page designs,
icons, smilies, buddy icons, forum avatars, badges and other non-photographic elements on external websites.
Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your CoRe*Clan account.
While The *CoRe* Clan prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you understand and agree that The *CoRe* Clan
cannot be responsible for the Content posted on its web site and you nonetheless may be exposed
to such materials and that you use the The *CoRe* Clan service at your own risk.
